With mobile browsing and shopping at an all-time high, mobile responsiveness is one of the most vital elements of the new site. As many of oomph’s clients are interior designers, the ability to send their own clients to the site to preview furniture and decor is of utmost importance.
A More Satisfying Shopping Experience.
oomph offers a wealth of variant options for their products — including 18 colors and 8 surfaces, among many others — and their previous site did not offer a way for users to see every option. V+V recommended implementing 3D renders to allow users to view every possible combination of every product, then built the new site to enable users to customize pieces based their selections. The result is deeply satisfying experience that allows users to see the final product they will receive, before they place an order.
An Emphasis on Custom.
V+V selected Shopify Plus as the home for oomph’s new e-commerce space. Shopify Plus offers a clean interface that seamlessly integrates with the Shopify POS, and a custom POS integration also allows for seamless management of oomph’s many (over 100!) product variants. The end result is a refreshed site that is smoothly navigable to users and easily maintained by administrators, with a design that celebrates the products’ custom nature by spotlighting color variations with a fun browse-by-color feature.
